School Uniform

A polite reminder to parents that the wearing of school uniform, including the coat, is compulsory for all children. Hats and caps are also considered part of the uniform.

Be Internet Legends: Form 2 ICT

In ICT this term, the children of Form II will be following Google’s Be Internet Legends course of work, a multifaceted programme designed to teach children the skills they need to be safe and smart online.

Kingswood 2018

Mrs Calcutt, Mr Carr and Miss Shipley are very much looking forward to our trip to Kingswood next month, and have decided to take the children to Leeds Castle before we arrive at the Kingswood Centre in Ashford for their activity weekend. Also included is a list of kit each child requires.

Scarlet Fever

We have been informed that a small number of children who attend Chartfield School have been diagnosed with suspected scarlet fever. Although scarlet fever is usually a mild illness, it should be treated with antibiotics to minimise the risk of complications and reduce the spread to others.

We have been noticing lately both that an increasing number of children are tired and lethargic at school, and that more and more children are not wearing the correct uniform.
