School Uniform

A polite reminder to parents that the wearing of school uniform, including the coat, is compulsory for all children. Hats and caps are also considered part of the uniform.

Christmas Gift Shop: 20th-24th November

The PTFA Christmas Shop returns for one week only, commencing on the 20th November and offering the children the chance to choose gifts for their family to be wrapped by Santa’s Elves.

The amount of polio-endemic countries has dropped from 125 to just three, with over 2.5 billion children receiving vaccinations thanks to the help of Rotary. Chartfield would like to highlight the Purple4Polio campaign by encouraging our children to plant crocus bulbs.

War Horse at the Marlowe

We are taking Forms I and II to see War Horse at the Marlowe Theatre on Monday 25th September, a real opportunity for the children to witness Michael Morpurgo’s literary masterpiece of humanity and friendship truly brought to life on stage. What’s more, we’ve managed to secure stalls tickets at a discounted rate, and have a limited number of additional tickets for adults.

The World’s Largest Coffee Morning with Macmillan

The children of Chartfield School would like to invite you to The World’s Largest Coffee Morning on behalf of Macmillan on Friday 29th September, where our Tea Room will once more support such a valuable cause from 10am to 12noon.

Peter Pan at the Marlowe

We have obtained some tickets to go and see Peter Pan at the Marlowe Theatre in Canterbury. The performance is on Tuesday 19th December at 7pm. Oh no you haven’t… oh yes, we have! We have booked for the Tuesday this year as the tickets are significantly cheaper than the weekend.
