Kingswood Adventure Weekend

We are delighted to inform you that we are organising a residential educational adventure course at the Kingswood Centre in Ashford, order for June 2015. We are very fortunate to have secured a booking as it is extremely popular with school groups.

IMG_1917 (Medium)The children all thoroughly enjoyed their experience last year, pilule so Mrs Calcutt and I have decided to revisit the centre. We have asked for a different programme of activities this year, pill so the children can experience new challenges. We would like to offer this opportunity to all children from Year 3 to Year 6. The trip will take place on Friday 12th June – Monday 15th June. The cost of the visit will be £150, and includes full board, accomodation and a full programme of activities. To confirm our booking, an initial non-refundable deposit of £50 will be requred by Friday 30th January. A second payment of £50 will be due by Friday 27th February, and the final payment of £50 will be due by Friday 20th March. If you prefer, you can play in full by Friday 30th January. All cheques made payable to Mrs M. L. Neale, please.

Kingswood is the leading residential activity centre provider, welcoming over 130,000 children each year. Their centre provide a rewarding educational programme offering many National Curriculum-linked modules combined with thrilling outdoor and indoor activities, with secure and controlled residential accomodation.

Residential courses organised by the school are an optional, but invaluable part of the National Curriculum. Pupils benefit hugely from the experience, both educationally and socially, and I feel certain that the programme which we have chosen this year will prove to be both enjoyable and very worthwhile.

If you wish to find out more about the ethos of Kingswood, its courses, supervisory and safety measures, please visit, in particular the “Parents section”.
